Susan M. Lach is a shareholder at Tuft & Lach, PLLC and a Rule 114 Qualified Neutral. Ms. Lach practices in all areas of family law, including complex property valuation and division, contested child custody matters, spousal maintenance, child support issues, and antenuptial agreements. Ms. Lach is trained in arbitration, as well as mediation. She is a Financial Early Neutral Evaluator for the Hennepin, Ramsey, Anoka, Washington, and Dakota County District Court Early Neutral Evaluation Programs.

Ms. Lach is a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) and is the Minnesota Delegate to the National Board of Governors. Ms. Lach is a member of the National Family and Conciliation Courts. She is past president of the Minnesota chapter of the AAML, and currently sits on its Board of Managers. Ms. Lach is past co-chair of the Family Law Section, Hennepin County Bar Association, as well as past chair of the Family Law Section of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. She is a member of the Minnesota Women Lawyers, and serves in its Advisory Committee. Ms. Lach has been consistently named one of the Top 40 Family Law SuperLawyers® in Minnesota by her peers. She has also been named to the list of top 100 SuperLawyers® in Minnesota as well as the top 100 Women Attorneys in Minnesota. Ms. Lach has been listed in Best Lawyers in America for over 15 years, and is listed in Leading American Attorneys, Who's Who in American Law, and International Who's Who of Professional and Business Women. She has lectured on topics related to family law through state and local bar associations in both Minnesota and Colorado, as well as nationally for the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the American Bar Association, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. She also is an Adjunct Professor at William Mitchell School of Law, teaching family law.
