John Jerabek is a shareholder at Tuft, Lach, Jerabek & O’Connell, PLLC. He has successfully litigated numerous family law cases involving complex business valuations, non-marital property, spousal maintenance and custody matters. He has established himself as an advocate for his clients in intricate grandparent custody and third-party custody proceedings, as well as juvenile court contested adoption matters. John Jerabek represents clients in family court appeals and juvenile court appeals and has frequently appeared before the Minnesota Appellate Courts.

Mr. Jerabek is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers — Minnesota Chapter. John Jerabek is a Rule 114 Qualified Neutral (mediator) and an Early Neutral Evaluator. John serves as a court-appointed Parenting Consultant in cases where parents are unable to reach on-going agreement. He has represented guardians ad litem for abused and neglected children since 1998.

John Jerabek has been selected to the Minnesota Super Lawyers list, as well as the Top 25 Super Lawyers Appellate Law list and the Top 40 Super Lawyers Family Law list. He is an Adjunct Professor of Family Law at William Mitchell College of Law, and has been a frequent lecturer on family law, juvenile law and children’s advocacy issues both locally and nationally. He is rated AV (the highest possible rating in both ethics and legal skills) by Martindale-Hubbell®, one of the nations’ oldest and most respected attorney listings.
